Watson-Marlow Bredel, Wilmington, MA, manufacturer of peristaltic pumps, offers its 704 U/RE pump designed for accurate metering and dosing of corrosive, abrasive and sensitive fluids. It is ideal for the contamination- free transfer of acids, paints, oils, inks, dyes or waste slurries found in chemical, pulp and paper, printing and similar applications.

Featuring increased production speed and flow control for high-capacity throughput, the 704 U/RE pump offers flow rates up to 1,500 liters/hour and peak pressures up to 30 psi. With no valves or seals to clog, the pump requires minimal maintenance, resulting in reduced downtime, providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional diaphragm pumps, says the company.

 or extended tube life, the 704 U/RE pump is equipped with a driven-roller 701RE pumphead and LoadSureģ snap-fit tube technology. The pump head is also fitted with industrial Cam & Groove connectors to ensure safe and error-free tube installation. To accommodate a double flow, the pump also accepts the 701REX extension pumphead.

The pumpís cased drive units and control circuits are housed in a washdown IP55 enclosure for use in harsh environments. Outfitted with manual and analog control features, the 704 U/RE offers speed controls ranging from 4 to 20 mA to 0-10 V. Additionally, for selectable single phase voltage, it operates at both 100-120 V and 220-240 V.

Watson-Marlow Bredelís 704 U/RE offers reversible operation with rapid stop and Ďauto-restartí for mains failure and recovery of timer control. For increased protection, the manual keypad lock prevents tempering and accidental changes.
