Valmet Performance Centers help customers adopt industrial Internet applications and remote services

Valmet Performance Centers (VPC) takes the company’s expert network close to customers and directly to the mill or plant, via secured data connections.

VPCs are industry-focused and located in key geographic areas, including in North America. VPCs currently serve energy, pulp, board, paper, tissue and automation customers. Available services from VPCs include industrial Internet applications (as a service), on-demand expert support, remote monitoring and optimization.

Typical performance center customers utilize the services of a centre after new machine installations, rebuilds or through continuous service agreements. By using Valmet’s experts for problem-solving and process development, customers can better allocate their own mill’s resources for running the daily operations. The Automation Performance Center supports customers in their daily challenges in distributed control systems, quality management systems, analyzers, measurements and condition monitoring issues. The services cover customer needs for maintenance, technical support, automation lifecycle management and cyber security.
