Exair HazLoc cabinetcoolers UL-approved for Class I Div 1

EXAIRCORP., CINCINNATI, OH SAIDITSNEWHazLoc hazardous location cabinet coolersystems are UL-classified for Div 1 environments. They passed the stringent requirements for use on classified purged andpressurized electrical enclosures within: ClassI Div 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Div 1,Groups E, F and G; Class III environments. Thecooling capacity of up to 5600 Btu/h is ideal forelectrical enclosures with problematic overheating, says Exair. They are CE compliant andavailable for NEMA 4 and 4X enclosures.

Exair HazLoc cabinet coolers circulate 20°F(-7°C) air inside the enclosure to prevent high-temperature faults. They mount in a standardelectrical knockout while keeping the NEMA 4or 4X rating of the enclosure. Cabinet coolersystems include an auto-drain filter separatorto ensure no moisture passes to the inside of theelectrical enclosure. An optional thermostatcontrol minimizes compressed air use andkeeps the enclosure at ± 2F of the setting.

Exair’s full line of cabinet cooler systems areavailable for NEMA 12, 4 and 4X enclosuresfrom 275-5600 Btu/h and are UL-listed and CE-compliant with no moving parts to wear out.Applications include cooling control panels,PLCs, microprocessors, fractional-hp variablefrequency drives and robotics.
