Bruks Belt Conveyor fully enclosed

Bruks says its new air-supported belt conveyor design is called The Belt Conveyor ™. It is composed of a standard belt supported on a bed of pressurized air over a formed steel trough. The design eliminates idlers and all their maintenance issues.

A simple cradle system supports the formed pans and covers; a central air plenum provides the air pressure to suspend the belt. The only rotating elements are the head and tail pulleys.

In a standard configuration, both the carry and return sides are air-supported. Covers enclose the belt and the material being transported, making the design fully air-tight and dust-proof. A Test and Demonstration Center in Atlanta showcases the new design’s capabilities.
