Garlock Abra-Shield expansion joint material designed for abrasion protection

THE PETERSON 5700D HORIZONTAL GRINDER IS DESIGNED FOR high-volume producers with very demanding end-product specifications.

Powered by a Tier II or Tier IV Caterpillar C27 1050-hp (772-kW) engine, or an optional Tier II or Tier IV 1125-hp (839-kW) C32 engine, the 5700D provides the highest power:weight ratio of any Peterson grinder. At 82,000 lb (37195 kg), the 5700D is designed for operations requiring high production and frequent moves between jobs. With a 60 x 40 in. (152 x 102 cm) feed opening combined with Peterson’s high-lift feed-roll, 5700D horizontal grinders can readily reduce a wide range of material including stumps.

The three-stage grinding process, with an up-turning rotor and large grate area, enables the 5700D to produce materials to exact specifications. The IQAN control panel features a large LCD display that provides the information needed to efficiently operate the unit.

System pressure transducers and remote monitoring capability simplify set-up and provide complete engine and system parameters. The 5700D can be operated by wireless remote from the comfort of a loader. The quick-change multiple grate system makes it easy to customize grate configurations to produce a wide variety of finished materials. Grates are removed through an access door on the side wall.
