Southern Field Maintenance buys APC business from Delta Ducon
Luverne, AL-based Southern Field Maintenance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Process- Barron, Pelham, AL, has bought the Environmental Elements (EEC) business line from Delta Ducon LLC. EEC specializes in air pollution control (APC) equipment and technology for power and industrial markets consisting mainly of pulse jet fabric filters (PJFF) and electrostatic precipitators (ESP).
Steve Moore, president of Southern Field, said “EEC is one of the largest and most respected air pollution control equipment and technology suppliers in the US. We plan to service the EEC installed base of approximately 1,000 APC units in North America with spare parts and service. Additionally, we will supply OEM ESP and PJFF Equipment. All of these services will be turnkey, EPC capabilities which are a huge plus for the North American marketplace.”
Southern Field supplies APC services and parts to the industrial and power generation markets, offering key components and solutions to customers for equipment maintenance, service and upgrades as well as plant maintenance and stoker grate system service work.
Southern Field’s main activities are in APC service and parts, air preheater maintenance and service, and general plant maintenance and stoker boiler grate system upgrades.
Environmental Elements has served the industry for 46 years with an installed base of 1,200 ESPs and PJFFs worldwide.
The combined group will continue to operate from its Arden, NC, Luverne, AL, and Malvern, PA facilities.
