Modern paper machine vacuum systems use blowers

Today’s most modern paper machines include vacuum systems with both single and multistage vacuum blowers. A multi-chamber separator is installed to separate air from water, before entering the blowers. Extensive research and computer-aided process modeling have refined the latest generation of TURBAIR inlet separators to where they are today. Near perfect air/water separation is now achievable. With any new vacuum system, MAN typically provides all necessary separator design engineering, baffles, doors and extraction pumps. The NPCVX series extraction pump is specifically designed for trouble-free operation with TURBAIR vacuum system inlet separators. The vertically mounted design is self-priming, self-regulating, and is non-clogging. Pumps mount directly to the side of the separation chest, and save valuable space.
