Expera Grease-Gard FluoroFree papers meet FDA food contact rules

Kaukauna, WI-based Expera Specialty Solutions, a producer of food packaging, has expanded its Grease-Gard family of brands, including its Grease-Gard FluoroFree papers.

Expera says that Grease-Gard FluoroFree offers outstanding grease resistance for food wraps, clamshells, microwave popcorn bags and quick service restaurant bags without the use of fluorochemicals. The company says they still meet FDA requirements for food contact while being cost-effective and eco-friendly.

Grease-Gard FluoroFree papers not only meet a wide variety of grease resistant needs but also offer a broad range of basis weights, an array of finishes and great glueability and printability. Staying committed to Expera’s sustainability Initiative, SOAR, the Grease-Gard FluoroFree papers can be produced with bleached, natural, blended and post-consumer waste recycled options that are FDA approved for direct food contact.
